Toys For A 10 Year Old Boy

Toys for a 5 year old? Spider man?
My 4 year old boy will be having a birthday next month and he’s starting to get into gender specific toys, something I know nothing about since I only had sisters! I’ve tried to keep my kids sheltered from violent programs (PBS and PlayhouseDisney only) but still he has started asking about Spiderman Toys for his birthday.
I’ve taken him to Walmart and the only thing I remember seeing was a web shooter, which I don’t want him to have. Any other suggestions? A specific name or a link would help me a lot because I’m really lost on what interests boys. As a matter of fact, any link to a toy that a 5 year old would enjoy I would really appreciate.
Please, answers from parents of boys only. I will give 10 points to whoever sends me some good ideas.
My son loves Spiderman. Its the only movie he’s allowed to watch that isn’t “G-rated”. I’ll give you a few links to the toys that he has…..

Our Walmart also has ALL the action hero guys (Spiderman, Sandman, Green Goblin….) on sale for only $5. We bought almost all of them to put away for birthdays and Christmas. Mind you, when family got wind of my son’s Spiderman obsession, they bombarded him with every Spiderman toy you could imagine. lol He has sheets and posters and all that stuff. Luckily, my husband is a big comic book guy, so I’m sure my son will enjoy all that stuff for a LONG time. I would simply follow your son around the toy section and see what he likes. Legos are great, GI Joe’s are timeless, sport equipment is fun…. the options are endless.
